In eveHRyday you can add documents to employees or to the company. When you do this you can choose from a number of categories. Some documents are automatically added to a category. There are two categories that send an automatic notification to the payroll processor. Per document - also the automatically added - you can select whether they should be visible or invisible. Team managers do not have access to documents.
During upload but also afterwards you can change the category or name of the file.
ESS
Employees can upload documents via Employee Self Service. To do so, click the "Documents" button at the bottom of the app. As soon as an employee adds a document, the company manager receives an email notification. This notification can also be disabled. The company manager can then decide what to do with the document. By default, the document is placed in the "General" category.

Retention periods
In eveHRyday we automatically add the legal retention period per document type. Read more about the retention periods here.

Pay slips, annual statements and declaration attachments
Pay slips and annual statements are added automatically and are periodically retrieved from the payroll software. The attachments to the declarations are collected in the declarations category at the time of approval of a declaration.
Notification when adding
When a document is added to the 30% ruling category or to the UWV(social security) category, a notification will be sent to the payroll processor and the cc email address in settings. As a result, these documents that are necessary for the payroll processor do not have to be supplied separately.
To download
You can download all or a selection of documents at employee or company level at once.
To delete
You can delete the documents one by one at employee or company level. If you want to delete everything at once, we can do that for you at eveHRyday. Submit a request to support@evehryday.com and we will do this for you. Please note: once deleted we cannot get it back, which is why we do not open bulk deletion to all users.
